(Part 1 of 2)
Did you know that Jigabot has developed an App for iOS and Android mobile devices? It is useful for operating the EX Bot manually, and for configuring an EX Bot in various ways. The EX Bot serves as a wireless hot spot that your smartphone can connect to. Once connected, you can configure the EX Bot to connect to the app via your local area network, via Wi-Fi.
Two ways that the EX Bot can be Operated
- You can manually drive the EX Bot left or right (panning left or panning right) by operating a slider control within the app. (iOS and Android apps)
- You can create up to four presets that the EX Bot will turn to, by pressing a software button. (Android apps)
Three ways that the EX Bot can be Configured
- You can manually drive the EX Bot left or right (panning left or panning right) by operating a slider control within the app. (iOS and Android apps)
- You can change the smoothness/agressiveness of the motor movement. (iOS and Android apps)
- You can change the pulse pattern that the EX Bot will follow. (You can also change this in the DOT Driver in order to make one person trackable (followed) by one EX Bot, but another trackable by a different EX Bot only. (Android apps)
To learn more about adjusting motor smoothness/agressiveness, you can download this .pdf: Jigabot Software App–Smoothness, 5-10-22.
There are more ways that the apps can be used to both operate and configure an EX Bot, as will be discussed when this post continues in Part 2…
